Michael and Susan Dell Pledge $6.25B to 'Invest America' Initiative

Michael and Susan Dell have committed $6.25 billion to the "Invest America" initiative, as reported by Reuters. The donation will provide $250 investment accounts for 25 million American children residing in ZIP codes where the median family income is $150,000 or less. This contribution supports the "Trump accounts" program, established under President Trump's "One Big Beautiful Bill Act." This federal initiative, managed by the U.S. Treasury, will deposit $1,000 into accounts for children born between 2025 and 2028, with accounts slated to open on July 4 of next year. Upon reaching age 18, beneficiaries can utilize these funds for approved purposes such as education, job training, purchasing a first home, or launching a business. Following this announcement, shares of Dell Technologies (DELL.N) experienced an increase of over 3%.
