Amazon Sustainability Accelerator Selects 11 Climate Technology Firms

Amazon selected 11 companies for its ClimateTech Sustainability Accelerator program on September 11, 2025. These firms will advance environmental solutions across energy, water, and waste sectors. The accelerator offers workshops, mentorship, and pilot opportunities within Amazon's European operations. Over 550 companies applied for this cohort. The chosen startups and scale-ups address critical environmental issues. Cartesian, a Norwegian firm, developed a thermal battery for energy storage. Mhor Energy produces large-scale liquid flow batteries. Other participants focus on ultra-thin solar panels and efficient air conditioning. Technologies converting food waste into biogas and hydrogen are also included. Olivier Pellegrini of Amazon highlighted the practical application of these technologies within the company's operations. This initiative supports the development of practical climate solutions.
