Permobil Appoints Mark Elliott as EVP of Quality & Regulatory

Permobil has appointed Mark Elliott as Executive Vice President, Quality & Regulatory, as reported by Medtech Magazine. This appointment, part of an ongoing company reorganization, elevates Elliott from his previous position as Vice President of Quality for the Americas. He will now lead Permobil's global quality and regulatory operations and join the executive management team. According to CEO Chuck Witkowski, the new global function is designed to enhance both product development and manufacturing processes. Witkowski stated, "With this new global function, we want to improve how we develop, manufacture, and incorporate market feedback by introducing global standards, breaking down silos, and simplifying processes – without ever compromising on regulations and compliance." This executive appointment follows Medtech Magazine's previous report that Permobil will eliminate up to 30 positions from its Swedish operations.
