LevelUP Accelerator Program Selects Fall 2025 Cohort

Twenty-one technology companies will participate in Peterborough's LevelUP accelerator program this fall, officials announced August 11. The Innovation Cluster in Peterborough selected the firms for the 12-week program. Participants possess market-ready products, demonstrating achievement of the minimum viable product (MVP) stage. The LevelUP program aims to assist growth-stage companies across Ontario's hardware and software sectors. Many participants originate from the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) and adjacent regions, signaling a widening geographic influence. The LevelUP curriculum focuses on practical business skills. Expert instructors will guide participants in branding, revenue model creation, product refinement, and customer acquisition strategies. Companies will also learn go-to-market tactics and investment preparation. The program concludes on October 30 with a pitch competition. Eight finalists will present their business plans to a panel of angel investors. The top presentation receives a $10,000 cash award, promoting competitive spirit. The Innovation Cluster aims to establish strong startup connections. Christine Crandell, vice-chair of the Innovation Cluster board, emphasized the high caliber of companies in this cohort.
