Saminvest Invests 50M SEK in Inception Fund Focused on Tech

Saminvest has committed 50 million Swedish kronor to Inception Fund, becoming a key anchor investor in the new Swedish microfund. According to a press release by Breakit, Inception Fund, which focuses on early-stage investments in AI-driven, deep tech, and B2B software companies, secured 227 million SEK in its initial closing. Magnus Skåninger, CEO of Saminvest, emphasized the strategic objective of strengthening the national venture capital environment. "This investment bolsters the Swedish venture capital ecosystem, specifically addressing the critical need for capital in the earliest stages, where long-term investors are less readily available," stated Skåninger. Oliver Molander, General Partner at Inception Fund, welcomed the partnership, noting, "We are delighted to have Saminvest as an anchor investor. Their commitment significantly enhances our institutional capital base and provides an important validation for both the fund and our team."
