Dagens industri: Allbright Launches Gender Equality Podcast; Kameo Offers Financing

Allbright Foundation has launched a podcast, "Kära trätoämne," to engage influential business leaders in discussions about gender equality, according to Dagens industri. The podcast will feature prominent figures such as financier Sven Hagströmer and Apoteket CEO Rasmus Nerman, challenging them to critically examine their perspectives on equality. In a separate report, Dagens industri highlights Kameo's disruptive approach to real estate financing. The company provides faster, more flexible lending options for property companies struggling to access traditional bank financing. Since 2016, Kameo has facilitated 8 billion kronor in loans across Scandinavia, covering both residential and industrial properties, according to General Manager Fredrik Källgren. Källgren emphasizes that Kameo's speed and flexibility are key differentiators. Unlike banks that typically require larger project sizes (around 300 million kronor), Kameo finances projects starting from 10 million kronor and can develop a financing plan within weeks, significantly faster than the 6-12 months often required by banks. Furthermore, Kameo uniquely finances housing projects, including housing cooperatives, without requiring pre-sold units, a common obstacle in securing bank financing. This accelerates project timelines and potentially enables higher sales prices upon completion. Kameo's financing operates through an investment platform connecting property companies with investors via its credit fund, institutional partnerships, and a network of platform investors.
