Sigma Technology IT Group Secures Sveriges Radio Framework Agreement

Dagens Industri reports that Sigma Technology IT Group has secured a framework agreement to provide IT consulting services to Sveriges Radio, Sweden's public service broadcaster. This strategic agreement enables Sveriges Radio to bolster its operational capabilities by leveraging specialist expertise for both immediate and long-term needs. Sigma Technology IT Group was one of three companies selected through the procurement process. This new contract formalizes an ongoing relationship, as Sigma Technology has served as a subcontractor to Sveriges Radio for the past three years, notably supporting the broadcaster's cloud technology transition. The framework agreement is set for an initial two-year term, with an option for an additional two-year extension. Sigma Technology will contribute expertise across IT infrastructure, systems development, digitalization, and cloud solutions, supplying both technical specialists and leadership to support Sveriges Radio's innovation initiatives. Rashin Kabodvand, CEO of Sigma Technology Cloud, emphasized the significance of this collaboration. He noted Sveriges Radio's vital role as a societal institution with stringent requirements for technology, availability, and security. Kabodvand stated that the agreement validates Sigma's competencies in cloud, digitalization, and IT, and expressed excitement about contributing specialized knowledge and leadership to Sveriges Radio's complex projects.
