Dagens industri reports that Wint, an automated accounting service, has launched a new offering designed to support aspiring entrepreneurs. Recognizing that the administrative complexities of company formation often deter potential founders, Wint will now establish ready-to-go limited companies (AB) at no initial cost for new clients. This initiative aims to remove the significant hurdle that individuals face when eager to focus on business planning and customer acquisition but are stalled by registration complexities and expenses.
Nathalie Björnman, Product Area Manager at Wint, stated that most individuals starting a company prefer to avoid administrative tasks and registration processes. Traditionally, entrepreneurs have opted to purchase "lagerbolag" (shelf companies) as an alternative to navigating the registration process themselves. However, Björnman noted that this option can incur fees of up to 10,000 SEK, in addition to the mandatory 25,000 SEK share capital. Wint's service is designed to eliminate these initial setup costs entirely.
Wint's new offering provides entrepreneurs with a "startklart bolag" (ready-to-go company) for zero SEK, enabling them to bypass the challenging and time-consuming startup process. The service covers the registration fee at the Swedish Companies Registration Office (Bolagsverket) and all associated costs, which Björnman described as the "cheapest alternative" available. Beyond company registration, Wint's service simplifies other critical administrative steps. The ready-to-go companies are pre-connected to a business bank account with SEB and also facilitate the necessary connections with the Swedish Tax Agency (Skatteverket), allowing founders to manage their finances and tax obligations from the outset with minimal complexity.
