Dedicare Acquires Wecare to Strengthen Social Work Position in Denmark

According to Dagens industri, Dedicare, a staffing company, has acquired Wecare, a Danish socio-educational consulting firm, to bolster its presence in Denmark. The acquisition agreement was signed on September 23, 2025, with the transfer of ownership scheduled for October 1, 2025. The initial purchase price is 18.9 million Danish kroner. The agreement incorporates a performance-based earn-out clause linked to Wecare's financial performance and development between 2025 and 2028. This incentivizes continued growth post-acquisition. Wecare, founded in 2019, reported revenues of 33.1 million Danish kroner for the 2024 fiscal year, reflecting consistent organic growth. Bård Kristiansen, CEO of Dedicare Group, underscored the strategic rationale behind the acquisition. "The acquisition of Wecare is an important step in consolidating our position in Denmark," he stated, adding that this move supports Dedicare's strategy to focus on the social work sector and enhance growth and profitability within its core markets. Kristiansen further commented, "We believe that we, together with Wecare, can strengthen our market position and become the preferred partner for both municipalities and consultants." This highlights Dedicare's ambition to become a leading provider in the region by leveraging Wecare's expertise to expand business volume and develop new client relationships.
