OurCrowd Founder Jon Medved Steps Down as CEO, Appointed Chairman

Effective immediately, Jon Medved, founder of OurCrowd, is transitioning from his role as Chief Executive Officer to Chairman of the Board. This change follows Mr. Medved's recent diagnosis of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). As Chairman, Mr. Medved will concentrate on strategic initiatives, particularly the firm's global expansion, working remotely from his home. He founded the Israeli investment platform in 2012. Cali Chill has been appointed as Acting CEO and Chief Operating Officer, responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations. Ms. Chill previously held the positions of Chief Investment Officer and Chair of OurCrowd's Investment Committee. Under Mr. Medved’s leadership, OurCrowd's assets under management grew to over $2.6 billion, encompassing a portfolio of more than 500 investments and 73 exits.
