Njord Medtech Gains New European Patent, Expands Sales

Göteborg-based Njord Medtech is strengthening its position in the European medtech market, according to a recent report in Medtech Magazine. The company has been granted a new patent by the European Patent Office (EPO) and is experiencing increased sales in several new international markets. The newly issued patent protects the "sheet attachment solution" for Njord Medtech's flagship product, the Atle 180 motorized patient transfer system. Already patented in the United States and Sweden, this EPO approval extends protection to the European Union, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland. This latest grant brings Njord Medtech's total patent portfolio to 18 approved patents across four distinct patent families, all related to the Atle 180. These advancements signal a period of significant innovation and expanding market reach for the company.
